The day before "the big test" can be stressful and I usually do this activity with my students to get them to relax a little. The story is fun and the attached questions provide some higher level questions for even the best of readers.
Motivate your students by doing this lesson at the beginning of the year or before a major assessment. Using YouTube and a clip from "Facing the Giants," students analyze the meaning of the clip and apply it to their lives.
