Fun project to help students with fluency and comprehension. Each will practice reading the children’s book to a group of your friends or family members, use fluency and expression as if you were the teacher and show the pictures as well They will then create 5 open ended questions to pass out to the class for them to answer about your children’s book (think about characters, plot, dialogue, themes, conflicts, title, etc)
This template can be used as Vocabulary Cards, posters, or to present notes. It includes the poetry or figurative language term and an example. Some cards include images.
