REALITY CHECK - Life Skills Project!
The Reality Check Project is a 5-stage mini-project that requires students to select one "real world" or "adult" topic to research, and ultimately, present to their peers. This task includes the introduction slideshow to roll-out this mini-project, and features a hyperlinked research / brainstorm / planning document for students to get their research started! Awards & shining teacher moments
I have presented at the New Tech Network national conference in Orlando, Florida, in 2017 on the topic of "Managing Teams in the Middle School Classroom".
I am currently the team leader for our high school's Sophomore English Department.
I have led several Professional Development Sessions to teachers throughout our school district on topics such as: Managing Teams in the Classroom, Strategies for Group Work, and other Instructional strategies.
My own education history
-Received Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University in 2013 majoring in English Education with dual concentrations (Language Arts and Reading)
