The Rise and Fall of Julius Caesar - Video Task
This 2 page, 19 question student task is a great introduction to Julius Caesar (the man) and life in Ancient Rome before reading William Shakespeare's play, Julius Caesar. There is a video linked in the directions of the task which students will view in order to answer the questions. I do not own the rights to the video. This activity can work in the digital / virtual classroom as well! Enjoy!

"Antigone" Wrap-Up Task
This 2 page Google Doc activity is for use after reading the short play " Antigone" by Sophocles. This activity has 11 multi-step critical thinking questions connected to the main idea, characters, and themes present in the play. Awards & shining teacher moments
I have presented at the New Tech Network national conference in Orlando, Florida, in 2017 on the topic of "Managing Teams in the Middle School Classroom".
I am currently the team leader for our high school's Sophomore English Department.
I have led several Professional Development Sessions to teachers throughout our school district on topics such as: Managing Teams in the Classroom, Strategies for Group Work, and other Instructional strategies.
My own education history
-Received Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University in 2013 majoring in English Education with dual concentrations (Language Arts and Reading)
