A unit of 3 intervention lessons for emergent writers, based on the story of Handa’s Surprise. These lessons introduce the basic concepts from ‘colourful semantics’ to support the construction of simple sentences. They also contain exercises for practising the physical, phonological and spoken language skills to support writing.
