I have recently implemented a math workshop style for my classroom. Kids rotate to stations after a mini lesson and finally come back to reflect on their work. Kids record their learning target daily and reflect on their math in writing daily! This has greatly helped me organize workshop, help children stay accountable of their learning, and add that reflection/writing piece that is missing from Everyday Math! There is also a sheet that has students record their pre and post test scores and set

This is a chart that students and teachers can use during whole group or small group instruction. I have used it in a small group that needs help paying attention to details as they transition from easy chapter books to more difficult chapter books. Students flag their books with sticky's and record their findings on this sheet. This chart has a learning target and teacher models at the top to help guide students.
