This is an unedited checklist that I used for my classroom during my first year of teaching. They are categories I wanted to cover with my class on the first day. I made it with rules and expectations, classroom policies, visions I have for students and their abilities, etc. While it was specific to my classroom/school in some areas, you may find it helpful for your first time teaching! Feel free to add/eliminate any categories that do not pertain to you. Hope this helps!
