This handy resource takes a games-based approach to teach number sense (aligning with whole number and addition/subtraction objectives and outcomes). Use this resource for any stage to develop students' understanding of numbers. Included is a game-board, instructions, discussion ideas, and examples of how to differentiate the game to for any stage and a range of outcomes. This resource was created using Piktochart.

Great display to encourage and aid students with self-assessment. Can be used in numerous ways! I have found it effective to provide students with a copy of each of the faces so they can place the face they identify with at the top of their desk. This helps with identifying which students need additional support and those who are in need of an extension. Great summative assessment at the end of lessons to provide students and teachers with clear feedback about if the learning was achieved!
