About the store

Experience

I have been a teacher now for 15 years. I began as a math teacher, which I loved! However, I quickly transitioned into science, which is my passion and the subject in which I actually have a degree. I also have a masters of science in education.

Teaching style

I would describe my teaching style as approachable. I believe that if you establish a genuine rapport with students, then the learning environment will be much more enjoyable for everyone. I don't think anyone should keep learning a secret, and I think knowledge should be available to all. I want students to look at the role models around them and think "Hey, if they know all this/can do this, then I can too!". Learning can be challenging, but a challenge is always a good time if you aren't afraid to fail.
