Experience

I have over 20 years of experience in computer education, teaching in both secondary schools and TAFE (Technical and Further Education). My diverse teaching background includes working with students from various cultural backgrounds, including many migrant ESL learners. My passion for education and technology drives me to create innovative and engaging resources that cater to a wide range of learning needs.

Teaching style

I strive to ensure complete understanding by creating resources that support individual progression through new technological skill areas. Recognizing the unique needs of ESL learners, I focus on simplified, visually rich instructional materials to facilitate comprehension of new concepts. My resources are designed to be engaging and accessible, making them ideal for middle school learners who are developing specific skills or exploring new technology concepts. I like to include hands-on exploration, collaborative learning, real-world relevance, adaptive instruction with clear structure and expectations where possible.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education, Vocational Graduate Certificate of Language, Literacy and Numeracy and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
