Get your students to master multi-digit multiplication in just 4 easy steps! Here are the steps for multi-digit multiplication using TPR (total physical response). There are 2 versions of slides: blue for 2x2-digit and purple for 3x2 digit multiplication. I print copies to make a class anchor chart, as well as for my students to glue into their math notebooks. Open in Google Slides for a fully editable copy.
For students who learn about the regions of the United States, they can create postcards as if they visited different landmarks in each state. They can write the postcards to parents, teachers, or even other students. There are specific success criteria that can be edited to meet your students' needs. If your students create or complete maps for each region, there is a rubric included with success criteria. Students can self-assess using the checkbox column and "me" column.
Fabulous way for students to showcase their best work! Each student submits a piece of writing anonymously. Student work is typed and showcased with only a number, not a name. Then, each class member votes on their favorite piece of writing every day. Students work becomes the mentor text as peers decide which traits are strongest in their classmates' writing.
