My teaching philosophy is built on two pillars: connection and intentionality. First and foremost, I focus on building real rapport with my students. I believe that learning cannot happen without a foundation of trust. In practice, I utilize the gradual release of responsibility model, ensuring students see strong modeling and engage in collaborative teamwork before diving into independent work. I bring that same level of intentionality to my physical and digital space. Every routine, template, and resource in my classroom has a designated place and a distinct purpose—never just there for aesthetics, but built to serve a functional role in a well-run learning environment.
