About the store
I am the former technology coordinator for a private school in Naperville, Illinois. Under my direction, the school integrated technology throughout the curriculum. We accomplished this by utilizing “real world” software that allowed the students to use their creative skills to develop solutions. In addition, they utilized multimedia, the Internet, and other software to create online projects and presentations.
In addition to this experience, I have created and conducted teacher in-services and workshops on a variety of technology topics, including how to incorporate Reading & Writing Activities/Resources in a 1:1 Environment, interactive whiteboard techniques, Web 2.0 tools, differentiated learning with technology, and other relevant topics.
I am also an faculty member for the University of Phoenix online campus, instructing graduate student educators in educational technology methods.

PowerPoint Interactive Rhyme Fun
Each slide on this PowerPoint presentation contains rhyming word that is pronounced with an image and is perfect for a whole class activity on a SMART Board or interactive whiteboard. There are four words that rhyme with the word and two that do not. When the student clicks on a word, they will hear "You're Right if they are correct and see a green plus sign; or "Try again" if they are wrong and see a red minus sign. Both long and short vowel sounds are covered.

Experience

Awards & shining teacher moments
I have coached 3 teams of students to the finals in the national ThinkQuest Jr. Web development contest; and participated in Tech2009 with my students where they demonstrated their technology prowess at the State Capitol building in Springfield.
