"Banking" Slides- Financial Literacy
Slides for Lesson 1: Intro to Banking Lesson 2: Types of Accounts Lesson 3: Insurance, Interest, & Checks Appropriate for Personal Finance class for 7th grade, 8th grade, or high school level. You will need to add your own activities but this gives a great outline for what can be taught in a "banking" unit! Approximately 1-2 weeks depending on length of class and what you add.

My own education history
Attended public school in Chicago, graduated college after having a baby as a teen and getting married young. Continued education to graduate with Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Additional biographical information
I recently became licensed in securities and insurance, also have been selling real estate for ten years while teaching. Taking a break from the classroom to pursue writing, financial coaching, and continuing to sell homes. I like TPT because I believe great ideas should be shared and it's just a great forum for people to express their creativity and genius.
