About the store
I'd say the experience I have that is worth sharing is the one that concerns with online teaching and learning. I have spent the summer teaching more than 20 online students on my own website and existing platforms. I taught ukulele, guitar and music theory lessons. I have learnt how to create video summaries of the lessons using flipgrid and how to master the art of calendars synchronization when teaching students all over the world. Aside from that, I am a newly qualified music classroom teacher, having completed the Professional Master of Education at Trinity College in Dublin.

For children aged 5-7. Slides with images and spelling of the names of different vegetables presented using music notation (crotchets and quavers). Each slide also includes an audio clip where I clap and spell out the words myself. At the end of the presentation I included a quiz where students here an audio track where I clap the names of different vegetables without spelling them out and they have to guess what they are. This PowerPoint is for primary school students. Includes audio files with listening exercises on different techniques (strumming, plucking), as well as a video I created myself on the history of the instrument (it comes from the island of Madeira non Hawaii!). Works well in a music lesson but can also be part of an interdisciplinary unit that includes geography and learning about different cultures. The children do not necessarily need a ukulele to complete this activity.

Teaching style

I am the progressive, young and tech-savvy teacher. The cool teacher students love. But I am also a serial Googler and I have compiled endless lists of all the different digital tools out there. I have mastered some of them, because beyond the coolness, there is a lot of screen time spent trying to figure out how technology can enhance students' learning.
