This worksheet bundle helps students understand characters in a story. They are asked to find the wants and needs of each character. The next activity asked students to interview a classmate to find information about their wants and needs. Finally, they write a newsletter post spotlighting the person they interviewed. (I would add an audio clip that reads the directions for your students who may struggle.)

This worksheet requires students to make connections with words. The students use words from the word bank to put them in groups. They must provide a category name for each group.
