As an elementary school teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching 4th grade, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of learners, from gifted students to those in the ESE program. I love the challenge of meeting each student's unique needs and finding creative, fun ways to engage them in learning. Whether it’s through hands-on activities, group projects, or integrating technology, I strive to make every lesson exciting and accessible for all my students. I taped this choice board on my students' desk and asked them to complete one act of kindness each morning. It helped build the community in my classroom and had students think about other ways to continue being kind in and out of the classroom. My administration loved seeing incorporated into the classroom as well.
