Teaching style
I am a former preschool teacher and homeschooled my three children over 17 years. I have a degree in history and literature and a background in art.
As a homeschool teacher, I try to adjust my teaching style to match my children's learning styles. I have one that learns best in a hands on environment, one that prefers worksheets and structure, and another that is somewhere in between. I find with all of my children, it helps to use a variety of materials to keep them engaged. Education and learning should be a fun, life long process.
My own education history
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on British and American Literature, British and American History, Art History, and Music History.
