Hairy Money Posters

Hairy Money is a great way to teach students how to count money. Uses skip counting by 5s. Side note, most posters I have seen have the dot on top of the penny, on my posters, I placed it on the bottom only to give my students the extra visual cue to let them know to stop counting by 5s and start by ones.

Teaching style

I love to use the hands on approach in teaching. I also incorporate the use of technology into my teaching with the use of computers and iPads. I believe that anyone can learn it just takes some a little longer and making learning fun and engaging is what will keep them going.
