Financial Literacy visual vocabulary w/ cognates
Here is an easy and simple way to teach emergent bilinguals unit vocabulary. Print, laminate, and cut them out to add pictures to cognates on an anchor chart. These can also be used as vocabulary review cards in stations. More unit vocabulary will be added throughout the year!

I believe all students are able to learn. It is our job to meet them where our scholars are and provide hands-on engaging activities.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I was awarded new teacher of the year in 2019. I received the STAAR growth award in the same year. I was also awarded teacher of the year in 2020.
My own education history
I graduated with a Masters's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix - Houston in 2016.
