This is a lesson intended for 7th grade Texas history, but could also work for 8th grade U.S. history. Students learn via slideshow about the 7 different principles of the Constitution. Students are then shown "instagram" photos and asked to identify which principle is being represented. This is an interactive lesson to teach students about the different themes of geography. Students will take notes as the teacher goes through the 5 different themes of geography, and then watch the Lorax and fill out the accompanying worksheet to test their knowledge.
