Hello and Welcome! I strive to create quality educational resources for high school AICE marine, AICE environmental, marine science, and AP environmental classes. As a teacher of 20 years, 18 here in Florida, the one thing I've found I love better than teaching is creating quality resources that help my students achieve and learn. Thanks to TpT, I’m able to share my creations that I use with my students with you, saving you valuable time. Over the past 20 years, I’ve taught many sciences, but those that are my passion are AICE marine science (6+ years), AICE environmental management (4+ years), and of course, marine science (15 years). I’ve been visiting the ocean in South Florida since I was 10, with family of course. That ignited my passion for the marine sciences, and influenced my decision to obtain a Bachelors of Science degree in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University. An accidental stint as a substitute teacher ignited my passion for teaching, and here I am today.

Teaching style
Teaching is challenging, which is why I love it. I am honestly not sure what to say about my teaching 'style' - I pretty much never follow the same path from one year to the next. I don't think good teachers get into teaching so they can laminate lesson plans! Each year you have to make adjustments, find what is suddenly not working this year, that worked last year, and tweak it. Or, reinvent something brand new for a totally new group of kids who are more advanced. That's what I love, that part, but it's the kids - they just make doing that never ending dance worth it.
