Experience

I'm a food science professional with hands-on industry experience in R&D, product formulation, and technical support. Teaching style

My resources are built the way I wish food science and agriculture had been taught to me: with the real science front and center, not watered down, but explained in a way that actually makes sense to a high schooler. I focus on accuracy first, engagement second. Every unit I create is grounded in industry-standard concepts and terminology, so students leave your classroom with knowledge that holds up in college and in a career. You'll find real-world applications, industry examples, and content that goes deeper than most textbook resources because it's written by someone who works in the field.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I may not have a classroom of my own, but the reason I started The Agriclassroom is simple: I kept seeing how hard ag and food science teachers work with limited resources, and I knew I could help. My proudest moments are when a teacher tells me a resource saved them hours of prep, or when a student gets genuinely curious about where their food comes from. That's what this store is for.

My own education history

I hold a Master of Science in Food Science from Kansas State University, with a focus in flavor chemistry and sensory analysis (Class of 2025). I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Feed Science & Management from Kansas State, with a concentration in pet food production (Class of 2021). I am a PCQI for human food and animal feed and a Certified ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor, with working knowledge of FSMA, AAFCO, FEDIAF, HACCP, GMP, and USDA regulations.

I'm based in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and I currently work in the pet food industry as a product innovation professional. The Agriclassroom is my way of bridging the gap between industry expertise and the classroom, creating food science and agriculture resources that are accurate, rigorous, and actually ready to teach. My background in animal nutrition, feed science, food safety, and sensory analysis means the content I build covers a range that most TPT sellers simply can't match.
