This is a 9 day Power Point lesson plan that I use in a whole group or small group lesson format. The unit is Representing and Comparing Rational Numbers. The TEKS can be found on the cover photo. There are over 100 animated slides and slides for students to complete on their own that can be uploaded for them to complete independently. The slides are great for students who are visual learners as they are animated in a step by step manner to keep students engaged and following along.

This product has a teaching component for whole group or small group instruction. Slides 2-13 detail converting fractions to decimals and percents. This is done through Power Point in an animated step by step manner. It also shows how to represent the fraction on a number line and strip diagram. I added an extra segment where 4 fractions are presented and it shows which fraction isn't equivalent. The student will learn number sense and get a glimpse of proportionality through this added bonus.

Over 150 animated power point slides covering equivalent expressions, order of operations, prime factorization, and exponents. It is primarily best for levels 5th - 7th grade. I use these slides to cover 12 days of instruction for our "Equivalent Expressions" unit. I use them in whole group setting and share them with the students for extra practice at home.
