Estimating your Annual Exposure to Ionizing Radiation Worksheet

The "Calculate Your Annual Radiation Exposure" worksheet is a tool that can help individuals estimate their total radiation exposure over the course of a year. It is typically used by people who work in environments where they may be exposed to radiation, such as healthcare professionals, nuclear power plant workers, or people who fly frequently. The worksheet typically asks a series of questions to help determine the individual's radiation exposure. Based on the answers to these questions, the

Additional biographical information

I am a practicing Medical Physicist with 8+ years of clinical experience specializing in radiation oncology physics. I obtained my Masters's degree from Swansea University (UK) in Medical Radiation Physicist and my undergraduate degree in Pure Physics and Meteorology. My research interest is focused on 4D Computed Tomography imaging to make lung tumor radiotherapy more accurate. As a clinical medical physicist, I perform numerous activities with a linear accelerator (LINAC) as it relates to the treatment of cancer and radiation safety. I also perform specialized procedures such as prostate and intraoperative breast brachytherapy. I also have a passion to disseminate knowledge to students who demonstrate an interest in any radiological science. I routinely lecture in local programs such as MSc Medical Physics and Doctor of Medicine residents specializing in Radiology.
