About the store
With experience spanning from teaching energetic toddlers to mentoring incoming college freshmen, I’ve had the joy of guiding learners at every stage. My passions are reading and behavior, and I’ve served in roles such as Small Group Reading Specialist, Behavior Interventionist, and Literacy Coach. I also worked as a Teacher Development Specialist, designing and facilitating professional development across my district. Currently, I serve as the Director of Clinical Experiences for a non-profit educator preparation program, where I support and grow the next generation of teachers. In addition to my work in education, I am a published author who believes in the power of stories to inspire and connect us. Whether I’m teaching children or coaching adults, my heart is always in education. I believe learning should be meaningful, joyful, and transformative, for students and teachers alike!

Teaching style

I am definitely a fan of love and logic! I believe that every child has a voice and deserves to be heard. My teaching style is grounded in connection, consistency, and curiosity. I believe that every learner, whether a toddler, a teenager, or a teacher, thrives in an environment where they feel seen, supported, and challenged. I create classrooms and learning spaces that balance structure with creativity, where students are encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and discover their own voices. As an educator, I blend high expectations with deep empathy. I believe in teaching the whole child, nurturing both academic and social-emotional growth. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and rooted in real-world relevance, helping students make meaningful connections between what they learn and who they are becoming. At the heart of my approach is the belief that education changes everything; and that kindness, fairness, and hard work are just as important as any academic skill. My goal is to help students not only master content, but also become thoughtful, compassionate human beings who believe in their own potential.
