***Free 6 week spelling unit of short vowels and one sight words list. All words are CVC. Each list contains 10 words with four different activities for nightly homework. Activities include rainbow spelling, "wrong hand" spelling, unscramble the word, draw the word and a word search.

Experience
I have taught kindergarten, first grade and fifth grade in the public school setting. After leaving public school, I began homeschooling children with learning disabilities and autism. I have been lucky enough to work with some of these kids from elementary all the way to graduation.
Teaching style
I like to look at learning from a behavioral approach. I believe strategy based learning and giving children the tools to know how to learn is the greatest gift we can give out students as opposed to drilling content and teaching to a test.
My own education history
I have my undergraduate in Elementary Education and my masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). I find my degree in ABA has been the biggest part of my success in instilling learning strategies and study habits for my students.
