This is a single page study tips handout. This is a great way to introduce some study ideas and open conversation on best study practice. This is something I like to hand out to students and to parents at orientation or open house.
This is a fun and colorful way to get to know your students. You have two color options. You can have the students fill these out on the first day as a way to get to know them a little better. This is also a good activity to give to any new students you have who come in later in the year.
I use this geography location activity with my seventh graders, but it would be great with lower and upper grades. You can use this is a visual to help students better understand the many layers of location in geography. I have them complete this activity for themselves, but they could definitely use this as a way to identify location for the people we cover in our history lessons.
