Teaching style

It is my belief that all children are capable of academic growth. My experience working in multi level classrooms, with students having special needs, has reinforced this way of thinking. My teaching experience and additional qualification course work has made me understand the dire need to inclusively deliver curriculum to meet the specific educational and socio-emotional needs of students, especially those in learning support and learning English as an additional language. I pair cultural values with curriculum in lesson plans and my daily teaching practice. I am comfortable accommodating and modifying curriculum to suit the needs of students of determination so that they can achieve academic success. I also build a healthy level of self-confidence in my students by teaching growth mindset in my classes.
