Awards & shining teacher moments

I completed two years of action research in using Model Eliciting Activities to teach teach math for K and 1st grade. My work is published in a book chapter, November 2012. Publication: Educ. Forum:Topic - multiage classrooms Publication: Math Journal:Topic - model eliciting activities for K-2 Received grants: ISDA, Pets in the Classroom, WPEF, Power of Education, and SMARTS Disney Teacher of the Year nominee

I LOVE animals and wish I could save them all! I'm a lover of 4 dogs (2 poodles, a puggle, and a golden retriever). I have two horses, and a cat. Truly, I aim to help all living things big and small!
