The Caring Classroom

I paired this activity with an interactive read aloud of The Great Kapok Tree, where students were given an animal and asked to discover which layer of the rainforest they were found in.

This letter is usable for educators who have students with IEPs or accommodated learning needs within their classroom to open the line of communication with parents from Day 1.
