Teaching style

Using culturally relevant pedagogy, we push students to question, inquire, create and debate within the safety of the classroom so that they may apply these skills to the world around them. Our resources incorporate a wide variety of strategies and teaching tools - everything from individual activities, think-pair-share discussions and lectures, to inquiry-based activities, collaborative, project-based learning, textual analysis, written responses, simulations, debates and more.

Additional biographical information

On a more personal note, we are both currently teaching at secondary schools in Ontario, Canada, but lived and taught abroad for six years at the start of our teaching careers. We had an amazing time teaching at Canadian international schools in both Dalian, China and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Needless to say, we love to travel and learn about different cultures while eating all the food. Thanks for taking the time to get to know us! We’re glad you’re here.
