Follow the experiment to make a mixture (variety of chips) and a solution (lemonade). There is always a differentiated lab with fill in the blanks instead of writing full sentence. Comes with an answer key!
Cut out the flipbook and take notes in each layer of the earth as you learn about the crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core! Cut out the earth and the circle around the layers. Fold both circles in half. Glue a half of the earth to a half of the layers cutout to create the flip book. I also did a clay model representation to show the students a 3D model of the layers.
Use this worksheet as a placemat (laminate them to be reusable). Get playdough and tell students to place the playdough on the Sicilian or round pizza pie and make it represent 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, etc. by cutting the pizza into pieces. Then, have them remove the playdough and draw in lines on the circle or rectangle to represent the fraction. ** Use aprons and chef hats to allow the students to really feel like chefs! :)
