About the store

Experience

Taught for five years in hard to staff Title 1 schools. Each year was a self-contained third grade classroom averaging between 18 and 20 students.

Teaching style

A typical lesson will always start with activating prior knowledge of students followed by a short teacher directed, a long guided practice, and an appropriately timed independent practice. Lessons should wrap up with some type of summarizing strategy to cement learning for students.
