Welcome to The Counselor Code, where you can find all things Social Emotional Learning! I'm Tiffany Holmes, the brain behind The Counselor Code. Teaching style

During my time as an elementary school counselor, I found that I had a passion for creating individualized resources to support students. In my first year, I often struggled to find the specific materials I needed for lessons, small group activities, individual counseling, behavior management, and bulletin boards. This inspired me to start creating and sharing my own resources to help other school counselors and educators.

My own education history

I earned my bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science with a focus on Child Development and Family Relations from the historically black North Carolina Central University. I also earned dual master's degrees in School Counseling and Career Counseling, both from North Carolina Central University.
