A set of 30 colourful flashcards with sums focusing on subtraction from 20. Use with pegs - students work out the answer then place a peg over the correct number. You may wish to put a dot behind the correct answer so students can self-check.

Help students practice subtracting from numbers less than 20. Cut out the pictures of kids holding stars and match them with the smaller answer stars. This resource can either be a cut & paste activity in student workbooks or you could laminate the images and have it as a reusable activity. There are 18 questions in total.
