Hi there! I'm Kait, and I've been teaching for 11 years. I began my career in the Chicagoland area, and moved to Minnesota with my husband in 2016, continuing to teach there for 6 years. Our family moved back to Illinois 2 years ago, and I returned to teaching here. Over the course of my 11 years, I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. I have also served as an ESL Department Lead, and Grade Level Team Leader. 5 years of my career were spent in an Arts Magnet school, which was the most incredible experience! I love including art now into everything I do!

Amusement Park Angles
This activity is a creative way for your students to practice measuring angles! Using the protractor at the center of the page, students will measure angles given to them, and add an attraction in the amusement park at that location. They will use the original angle on the page to label the type of angle between the ticket booth, and the location of each attraction. Included also is an answer key!

Looking for a creative way to get your students exploring lines of symmetry? This project offers a creative way to get kids hands on understanding lines of symmetry in polygons.
