Experience

As a third-grade teacher with a background in communications and a passion for media and graphic design, I found my true calling in elementary education. With two years of teaching experience and a focus on upper elementary students, I embrace the importance of inclusivity and differentiation to meet the diverse learning needs of today's classroom.

Teaching style

In my classroom, teaching is all about creating a dynamic and engaging experience for my students. I believe in a hands-on approach that sparks curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and fosters a love for learning. I strive to make learning inclusive and accessible to all students. I embrace differentiation, ensuring that each learner's unique needs are met. By creating a supportive and collaborative environment, I empower students to take ownership of their learning and develop essential skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and effective communication. Flexibility is key in my teaching style. In order to adapt my instructional strategies to suit the diverse learning styles and preferences of my students, I have learned to incorporate technology, real-life connections, and meaningful projects. The aim is to make learning relevant and meaningful in this ever-changing world. I like to celebrate mistakes as opportunities for growth and foster a sense of curiosity and wonder, with the goal of creating a positive and inclusive community within my classroom.
