I have been a teacher for 2 years. I am still in the beginning stages of my learning experiences as a full time teacher, but I am loving every minute of it!

This project is for the students to create their own math reference guides! It includes a tablet, which has shapes and symbols. The project also includes ten frames, number lines, a hundred chart, and dice/tallies. Students will have fun having their own "tablets" to look at whenever they need help with their math skills. I have included color and B&W versions of the tablets.

This activity is a fun way to help students practice counting, specifically by tens! The students will add things to their monsters in sets of 10, and they can be as creative as they want!

Teaching style

I am all about creativity! I like to create lesson plans that are interesting and incorporate as many hands-on activities or projects as much as I can. I am very enthusiastic when I teach because I believe that if you are exciting about what you're teaching, your students will be excited to learn it.

I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My major was Mathematics, and my minor was Language Arts.

Additional biographical information

I have lived in Michigan my entire life. I got married over the summer to my wonderful husband, and we recently found out that we are expecting our first child! It is very excited but also very scary at the same time!!
