Experience

I have been teaching math for over 7 years and have taught in Public, Private, and Charter schools. I have taught remedial math, mainstream, honors as well as Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

Teaching style

Make it relevant, make it enjoyable, make it memorable. Students have standards they must meet and as teachers we must bring those standards to life. I believe that the classroom needs to be a mix of a multitude of activities and lessons to engage all learning styles and level of learners.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Manhattan College. I earned my Masters Degree in Special Education from Western Connecticut State University. I am currently completing my Post- Masters Degree in School Building/District Administration from Stony Brook University.

When I am not teaching you may find me coaching one of our sports teams (soccer and track) or you might find me working on my newest hobby - quilting!
