Welcome to The Dyslexia Classroom! My name is Casey, and I'm a Certified Academic Language Therapist (ALTA), Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (TX), Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist (IDA), and classroom teacher with over 27 years of teaching experience both in public and private school settings in addition to private dyslexia therapy. I have a private dyslexia therapy center where I work with students, parents, and educators to build a community that embraces and understands dyslexia. You may also see me presenting on dyslexia at different national conferences, on the Together in Literacy podcast, author of Teaching Beyond the Diagnosis, and in various magazines and articles.
