The Market Area Analysis Project is designed to accompany Unit 6 of AP Human Geography. The project reinforces the concepts of Range and Threshold by utilizing ARC-GIS web based maps and Google Maps. The ARC-GIS component allows students to build location specific variable maps that relate to concepts of range and threshold of services. Students can present or post their work to an online forum.
