I am a dedicated teacher with intimate knowledge of the primary education system; specializing in the elementary and high school education, possessing a proven track record of achieving standardized test scores for school accreditation in the Commonwealth of Virginia; Experienced with Interactive Achievement and/ or Power School, course scope definition, lesson plan design and oral presentations. I exhibit exceptional work ethic, passion for education and unwavering commitment to students, parents and cohorts to optimize each student’s education and further develop my teaching and leadership skills.

My teaching style is high energy! I have a very hands on approach in my classroom and do many hands on activities and crafts with my students. I am a huge fan of brain breaks for students of all ages! Embedding movement activities throughout the day is a must. I create multi-sensory activities to hold students’ attention. Additionally, use visuals and tactiles to communicate friendly reminders. I’m a firm believer in positive discipline and the responsive classroom approach. I emphasize the good behaviors I observe to create safe, supportive learning environments that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
