Teaching style

I’ve been a speech-language pathologist for over 22 years and am passionate about supporting communication through meaningful connection - especially working with children with autism and other significant communication challenges. I’m especially drawn to helping SLPs feel more confident and less overwhelmed - because I’ve been there too!

Additional biographical information

I’m a mom, a diet coke fiend, a late-night laminator, and an SLP who believes in progress over perfection! I started The Exhausted SLP because I know how hard this job can be even though we LOVE what we do! My goal is to support other SLPs with materials that save time, reduce stress, and actually work with our most complex kids. Whether you’re in a therapy room, a classroom, or sitting in front of your TV cutting Velcro until your hand loses all feeling - you’re doing great, and I’m glad you’re here!
