A way to interest students in authors who might be new to them. Our class compiled a list of favorite authors and then found video clips about each author.
Use those macaroni noodles to mark the quotation marks and commas in some sentences about Chicago Cubs. Just slip the sheets in sheet protectors and give the students a box of macaroni noodles and you have an easy pre-make center ready to go.
Differentiated by level of difficulty in the sentences and sentence topics for interests of students.
A product that can be used as musical chairs, cake walk, memory or any other way you choose to help students review where in the world they live. It is made specific to our school but you can easily edit and add your own school and locations.
Students choose a container to fill with items a particular character they choose would use or need. They present their container to the class and the class writes their guesses down. Grading rubric and guessing/reaction sheet included.

Students use a map scale to figure out the length of different rivers, they also identify the number of states that the river runs through.
Students get to create their own monster based on the" Purple People Eater "song. They answer math questions about the monster they draw, write a story about their monster and have a gallery walk where they comment on each other's creations. Includes story map with character traits probelms and resolutions, events, setting, writing paper, rubric and math charts (fractions, height, weight)
A recording sheet for when students to record their observations over time when they create crystal ornaments using borax and boiling water.
