About the store
I have taught full-day Kindergarten for three years, and am looking forward to entering my fourth year this fall! I also have experience teaching first-fourth graders in after school enrichment programs, homework labs, and summer school. My Kindergarten class is themed The Fireflies, because the goal is always for us to have a bright, shining, magical year together!

How Many More to Make 10? Ten Frame Addition
Ten frames with different values 1-10 are given. Children are to determine how many more they would need to make 10, then write the corresponding number sentence. Great practice with subitizing, compliments of ten, and addition. Perfect for use as an independent Math Center.

Counting on from 10
Great Math practice for teen numbers, number sense, and counting on. Each problem has a group of 10 circles, then some additional stars. Children are to count the stars by counting on from 10, not counting all of the circles. All shapes are in rows as they would be in a ten frame.

Great independent Math practice or for use as a center following the Everyday Math Lesson on function machines. Includes operations for +2, -1, +3, and one blank for students to write in their own function. Great practice with addition and subtraction!

Dice Addition Roll 2 Dice
Children are to roll two dice, draw in the dots in the corresponding squares on the page, then add the dice together and write the sum. Good for practice with addition, subitizing, and counting on from the higher number.

Students need to subitize and figure out what number is needed to finish the number sentence. I recommend printing it back to back and using it as a center for Math practice!

Teaching style
I strive to have an organized classroom where the kids can be as independent as possible. I believe every child can learn and make it my goal to help them to reach their full potential. I also want each year to be fun, memorable, and have a little bit of magic :)
My own education history
I attended the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.
Additional biographical information
I love teaching, anything with sprinkles, cupcakes, and my cat Maisy :) My favorite children's author is Mo Willems. I am best known on my teaching team for my organization, and my love for dressing up and making my teammates join me.
