About the store
I am an elementary teacher turned stay-at-home dad with seven years of classroom experience. I have worked with a wide variety of students, from ESL to rural communities and everything in between. All of my elementary experience has been within Title 1 schools and I have a passion for helping every student succeed. In addition to my elementary experience I have five years of classroom experience in pre-K, ranging from two years of age up through five. As with my elementary experience, these years were spent in a school that predominantly received government aid for students.

This exciting game will help your students make connections between 2D and 3D shapes while throwing in a little competition. Students take turns flipping over two cards, trying to turn over a 3D shape and its corresponding 2D face. If a student makes a match they keep those two cards! For a simpler version you can have students lay out the 2D shapes in one section and the 3D shapes in another. This will allow them to know they are getting a 2D and 3D shape each turn, and will make finding matche

Help your students review the attributes of two-dimensional shapes and locate them in their environment with this fun game! Similar to Candyland, students will follow the path of the game board by drawing cards. Rather than following a color students will turn up a real-world example of a shape and move to the corresponding shape on the board. You can support diverse learning modalities by providing concrete flat shapes for students to use as they compare pictures and shapes.

This game is designed for reviewing the attributes of 3D shapes and can be played by two or more students. As students play they will count the edges, faces, and vertices of various shapes and compare the number they count. The rules are similar to "war" so many students will already know how to play, making it easier for teachers to use the game in an independent center or station. The representation of these 3D shapes is pictorial with some abstract knowledge required so teachers may wish to h

These fun number pattern mazes provide multiple ways for students to practice and demonstrate their mastery. The mazes themselves are simple, allowing students to focus on the skill of continuing a number pattern. If students follow the pattern correctly they will reach the exit. If not, it's straight into the wall! Students who are ready for a deeper challenge can use the mazes in the second half of this file to create their own number patterns. Not only will this require them to demonstrate a
