Teaching style

I have worked extensively in inclusive education, supporting students with a wide range of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs across multiple grade levels. My experience includes collaborating closely with LSAs, inclusion teachers, classroom teachers, school leadership, and parents to design and implement effective support strategies. My teaching style is structured, practical, and student-centered. I believe that inclusion works best when adults are given clear guidance, consistent routines, and realistic tools they can apply confidently. I focus on promoting student independence over adult dependency, using explicit instruction, visual supports, positive behavior strategies, and clear communication. My approach values collaboration, calm consistency, and respect—for both students and the adults supporting them.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My proudest professional moments come from seeing students gain independence, LSAs grow in confidence, and teams begin working with shared language and purpose. Highlights include successfully training and mentoring LSAs, supporting complex students in inclusive settings, and helping schools move from reactive support to proactive, structured inclusion systems that truly work.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Languages, which provided me with a strong foundation in communication, language development, and literacy—key components of effective teaching and inclusion. I also hold a TEFL Diploma, equipping me with structured instructional strategies, differentiated teaching approaches, and practical tools to support diverse learners. In addition, I earned an Education Support Diploma from Canada, where I developed specialized knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs, working effectively within inclusive classroom environments, and collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families. This combination of language education, teaching methodology, and education support training allows me to design resources that are pedagogically sound, inclusive, and highly practical, bridging the gap between theory and real classroom application.

Additional biographical information

I am passionate about creating resources that bridge the gap between theory and daily practice in inclusive classrooms. I strongly believe that effective inclusion depends on well-trained support staff, clear systems, and strong collaboration between schools and families. My goal is to provide educators and parents with tools that reduce stress, increase confidence, and help every student feel supported, capable, and valued.
