Experience

Hi there! I'm Elizabeth! I have been in the classroom for 14 years, primarily working in Kindergarten and other primary grades. I am a dedicated reading specialist and have been creating teaching resources on Teachers Pay Teachers since 2016. In 2023, I decided to step down from teaching as we welcomed another baby into our family. Now, I am a proud mom of four and wife to a wonderful firefighter.

Teaching style

I believe that relationships should ALWAYS be the first priority in the classroom! If students don't trust you, they can't learn from you. I am passionate about hands-on learning, project-based learning, and making learning fun and engaging for all students. I strive to create resources that help build strong classroom communities and foster a love for learning. I'm NOT a worksheet kind of teacher—in fact, I probably spend more time jumping around and sitting criss-cross apple sauce than anything else!
