🌿 My Experience
I bring over 20 years of teaching experience across international settings, having taught in the UK, India, Spain, Australia, Malaysia, and the USA. Working in diverse educational environments has shaped a flexible, culturally responsive, and globally informed teaching approach.
While the majority of my career has focused on children aged 4–5 years, I have stepped into and taught across a wide range of classrooms, supporting learners up to 12 years old. This breadth of experience gives me a strong understanding of developmental progression and how early foundations shape later learning.
I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of East Anglia (UEA) and have engaged in ongoing professional development throughout my career. My practice continues to evolve through research-informed strategies, reflective teaching, and collaboration with educators around the world.
At the heart of my work is a deep respect for childhood — and a commitment to creating environments where young learners feel capable, curious, and joyful.

🌿 My Teaching Style
My teaching approach is rooted in nature, joy, and hands-on exploration. I believe children learn best when they are actively engaged — touching, building, creating, wondering, and discovering.
My classroom is child-centered and responsive, guided by curiosity and real experiences. I draw inspiration from elements of Reggio Emilia and Montessori, blending:
• Open-ended exploration
• Purposeful, hands-on materials
• Respect for each child’s developmental pace
• Beauty and calm in the learning environment
• Authentic opportunities for independence
I value process over product, conversation over compliance, and connection over control. Learning should feel meaningful, playful, and alive.
Above all, I aim to nurture confident, capable children who feel seen, heard, and inspired to explore their world.
